Pop`s Diner in Hendersonville

We were in there for my lunch break.. The servers were friendly and very attentive! The food came out quickly and was cooked exactly as ordered. If you want a great burger this is the place to go with hand pattied burger made daily! And house cut fries on top of a whole menu of great items.. I will be back again and again!

Breakfast Club is consistently amazing. Outstanding lunch and breakfast dining. Patty Melt is also worth the drive from anywhere in WNC.

I enjoyed our visit to Pop's diner. The server was friendly. Our food came in a timely manner. I had the patty melt and enjoyed it quite a bit. The fries were well cooked. My wife liked her meal as well. The store is a bit dated and could use a freshening in some areas. There was plenty of parking. He's very easy to access off the main road.

After driving by this cute diner we just had to give it a try. All their reviews were positive although our experience wasn’t very good. The bacon was stone cold, the eggs not cooked as ordered, and the potatoes didn’t taste fresh. The pancake was very good and our server did all she could to keep us happy although much of it was out of her control. We were very disappointed.

This place feels like a 50s diner. And it has roughly the menu from the fifties Diner. Excellent food great for breakfast good for lunch. Closed in the mid-afternoon. Not available for dinner.

A cool little diner in a neat part of town. Great atmosphere with nostalgia on every corner. Diner food done well. Breakfast was delicious! The staff are really friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a try!

Pop's is my Sunday Diner. I live 20 miles away and the restaurant I normally use is closed on Sunday. I am always greeted warmly and served quickly. Never in any breakfasts there have I not enjoyed the food. Coffee is also great. It reminds me of a little place I worked at as a teenager. A great family restaurant for any meal. Get there and enjoy!

The food was excellent compliments to the chef. Service is slow. The decor great, the service was slow someone friendly. No music atmospheric could have been a better for decor. Will be back great place to eat and again kudos compliments to the chef.

This dinner is very easy to find and the food was very good. Unfortunately that is where my good experience ends. The parking lot is a nightmare to navigate with people coming and going from everywhere. Getting out is a challenge also. The wait staff was tough to find to get a menu, refills on drinks and getting the check. They were friendly enough just not too quick. Long lines at checkout made getting in and out of the restaurant very difficult. Oh, watch your step going out the door!! There is an unmarked step right before it. If it wasn't for the good tasting food my suggestion would be to find some other place to eat. Backroom has such a wonderful echo also. Heard everyone's conversation at a rock concert volume!!!!

Wonderful diner in Hendersonville, was looking for a place to eat breakfast with some friends and found pop's diner. Though it was fairly busy, we were seated immediately and the wait wasn't too bad. When the food came it was well worth it, being thoroughly delicious and well prepared. Everyone in my party felt the same way. Excellent service and a great vintage diner atmosphere.

I love this classic diner! Great food, fun environment and really makes you feel like you've gone back in time a little bit! It's nice to see these places still exist! We will be back soon.

We love having breakfast at Pop's. Any reason we can find to come to Hendersonville, just for the wonderful service and food.

The food, service and atmosphere are great here. Food was out fast, very tasty and reasonably priced. I got the French Toast Special. Highly recommend.

Great food and great service. Service was friendly, keep my coffee cup full and my water glass. I had a corner beef hash omelette, food was good, if your in the area stop in and try it out. Great atmosphere with the oldies playing on the radio.

The place is very cute and all the waiters are nice, the wait is just long in the mornings because they don't seem to have enough help to ensure that everyone can take care of their tables. Service would be better if the waiters weren't stretched so thin between so many tables.

After living here for years I finally stopped in to eat. Food was fair. Cleanliness was not so good that being said it was right after breakfast rush. Upon walking in the door and looking around unsure I've weather to seat myself or wait to be seated took a few minutes before I waitress walked by and said have a seat anywhere. Our waitress was phenomenal she knew the food she had a smile on her face she told me what her favorite dish was she kept our drinks refilled. Knowing a little bit more about the place I believe the next visit would be much better.

I love this place. The menu is a great mashup of traditional diner foods and a new spin of classic ingredients. The service is good. The venue is clean. Although, it tends to be busy I rarely wait longer than you'd expect for my food you be arrive at my table.

I do like Pop's diner for their comfort food. I also like the old fashion 50's style building and big windows. When I get a hankering for comfort food this is the place to go.

The coffee was so weak, I couldn't drink it. The rest of my party agreed. We asked for a stronger pot, but it's the set recipe, so it wasn't a fluke. The server was nice. Loved the outdoor seating during corona virus. Food was ok.

Exactly what you're looking for in a brunch type place! Fun atmosphere, delicious food, and exactly what we were looking for! We would eat there again!

Great breakfasts! Authentic 1950s diner with huge variety of menu items. Everything cooked right there, time to enjoy coffee before meal arrives. Friendly staff, guests aren't rushed at all.

Food was alright but was very surprised that kitchen staff or the waitress wore mask only one server wore a mask and very close area.

This is not an easy review to write. After driving past Pops Diner for years, we decided to stop by and try it out. After walking in, we were told to sit where ever we wanted. Sat for 10+ minutes waiting for a menu or a greeting. Nothing. Saw several of the staff walking around but no one came to our table. We will never go back nor can we recommend Pops Diner.

I got the hamburger it was absolutely great!! Service was great and food was fresh.

If you've never been here, GO. Nicest people, great food, courteous.

Great discovery for us bab y boomers co.ing of age in the 50s.. burgers and fries were delicious and generous size...little pricey, but go for a travel back in time...be sure you see the old wall telephone!

Pops Diner was great ! It was our first time visiting, and all of the employees were extremely welcoming and nice. We were constantly getting refills and smiles! The food was a 7 out of 10 . Overall the environment was very cozy, welcoming, and clean. Would recommend and come back again!

Pretty standard diner fare. The decor is a nice touch and really takes you back, and the service is as good as you'd expect from such a place.
